Wednesday - BUDDING Shakespeares, JK Rowlings and Sylvia Plaths can get their talent noticed at this year's Wolds Words Festival of Reading, Writing and Performance.
If you have a talent for poetry or a passion for prose you can perform your work at an open mic night at Alford Manor House on Wednesday, October 15.

Each person will have a 10-minute slot and can wow the audience with a reading, poetry, comedy sketch or performance piece.

The event is sure to be fun and lively and an opportunity to meet like-minded people and get some new inspiration.

If you miss the event at Alford you can have a go at the Salvation Army Hall in Louth on Wednesday, October 22.

All entrants must sign up in advance.
