Moving Danish drama on show at film club

Sunday, 9am: MOVING Danish drama After the Wedding will be screened at the Playhouse Cinema, Louth, on Monday, September 29.
The film, directed by Susanne Bier, was nominated for the best foreign language film Oscar in 2007.

It stars Mads Mikkelsen, playing an altruistic charity worker in India, tempted home by the promise of a large donation, only to discover there are strings attached and an unsettling secret to be revealed.

The film, which is a 15 certificate, will be screened courtesy of Louth Film Club.

It will start at 7.30pm, with tickets priced at £3 for members, and normal cinema prices for non-members.
