Tuesday - A DOUBLE-header of music and extreme sports will be in store this weekend, as Boston's Party in the Park and the Skegness Kite and X-Fest are being held simultaneously.

Music fans can use the Poacher Line to head for Central Park, Boston, where a weekend of live bands and local talent will be staged, with something to suit every taste.

The festival kicks off on Friday, July 11, at 6pm, and will continue on Saturday, July 12, between 11am-11pm, and on Sunday, July 13 between noon-11pm.

Entry to the event is by pre-paid ticket only, available from Boston Borough Council, tel 01205 314317.

For the more extreme, the Skegness Kite and X-Fest is the place to be, with lots of entertainment in and around the X-Site Skate Park, North Parade, Skegness.

There will be a lantern beach party, live music, dance-offs and a surfwear fashion show, as well as various workshops.

There will be trade stalls, beach sports, skate competitions and kite demos - something for everyone!
