EDITOR - Maybe the lack of people is due to the big void on the seafront?
Skegness may be a family orientated resort, but you only have to look at how few people were about at night - all the stag and hen nights that used to come to Skegness have moved to Butlins/Ingoldmells because there is a better nightlife.
A lack of nightlife means a lack of people wanting accommodation.
It is about time someone made a stand and insisted that if the Bolas can't come up with a decent plan, then East Lindsey District Council should be able to make a compulsory purchase order and get this town thriving again.
