EDITOR - Yes, I agree Skegness is losing out on facilities and attractions - but we can do without firework displays returning on the foreshore.
Consideration must be given to the elderly people of Skegness and wildlife, as well as domestic pets, as fireworks today are not the visually pleasant ones of yesteryear.
They are more like deafening bomb blasts. Many people already dread November 5 and New Year because of the noise.
