Monday, 3.08pm - ONE of the east coast's best kept secrets is out as Anderby Creek has appeared on The Guardian's top 10 UK coastal holidays.

Anderby Creek, a peaceful idyll nestled along the coast just beyond Chapel St Leonards, has remained an unspoilt haven, but now its beauty has been nationally recognised.

The Guardian's report called it 'an unspoilt gem on a generally over-developed coastline'.

Anderby Creek was eighth on the list ahead of Kent and Arnside in Cumbria, and was pipped by East Lothian, Eastbourne and Cornwall.
Top of the list was Morecambe.
