MOnday, 4.40pm - A PAVING slab was used to smash a caravan window at the Golden Anchor site in Trunch Lane, Chapel St Leonards, at around 4.40am on Saturday.
It is thought the occupant's dog barking scared the offender from entering the caravan, but a purse was stolen from another caravan on the site, where the window was forced.

Police would like to speak to anyone living on the site who heard or saw any suspicious activity or individuals in the area around the time of the offences.

The electricity supply at a caravan at the Bellbank Camp in Trunch Lane was turned off and a thief stole a handbag and its contents at around 3.15am on Monday.

The offender is described as male, wearing dark clothing and a hoody, possibly with his face covered.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the man in the area in the early hours of Monday morning.
