Charity donations made during Burgh tea rooms 9th birthday

Saturday, 5pm - FATHER Terry Steele was joined by representatives from the Butterfly Hospice Trust, Boston, and the Lincolnshire Air Ambulance for birthday celebrations at St Peter and St Paul's Church and community tea room in Burgh le Marsh.
Celebrating the tea room's ninth anniversary in the town, Father Terry presented Shirley Morris from the Butterfly Hospice Trust and Vic Parrock from Lincolnshire Air Ambulance with cheques for £1,000.


Funds were raised by volunteers at the tea room through the teas, coffees and bric a brac sold.


A donation was also made for £1,000 to the church.
