Housing trust joins midland group to improve services

Monday, 2.56pm - NEW Linx Housing Trust plans to offer improved services and greater opportunities for local people after joining the Waterloo Housing Group.
The trust, which manages around 6,000 homes across Lincolnshire, has joined the Waterloo group along with de Montfort Housing Society, Leicester Newarke Housing Association and Waterloo Housing Association.


The Waterloo Housing Group was formed by Eastern Shires Housing Group and Waterloo Housing Group and has assets of £580m.


Group chief executive David Pickering said: "The new group brings together high performing associations committed to providing first class services and equipped with the capacity to delliver significant numbers of much-needed new homes."


The group aims to develop 1,000 new affordable homes for rent and shared ownership each year.
