Man charged with seven-year-old armed robbery

Monday, 11.19am - A MAN has been charged in connection with an armed robbery which happened at the Spar shop in Winthorpe almost seven years ago.

Shaun George Bradley, 29, of St Helen's in Merseyside, was arrested in South Yorkshire on Sunday.

He was taken to Skegness Police Station where he was interviewed and charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.

The robbery took place on October 31, 2001, in Church Lane.

Bradley was due to appear before Boston Magistrates' Court today, Monday.
