Skegness donkeys find fame again

Tuesday, 11.25am - SKEGNESS' award-winning donkeys are set to be in the limelight once with an appearance on children's TV.

John Nuttall's donkey's who were crowned Britain's best beach donkeys will be filming tomorrow, Thursday, for Animal Planet and the CBeebies channel.

The film will show one of Mr Nuttall's newest donkey's Sam get put through his paces as he faces a rigorous inspection by the Donkey Sanctuary to see if he will be allowed to work on the beach.

The film will also inform viewers about a typical day in the life of a beach donkey as they follow Mr Nuttall and his team from home, to picking up the donkeys to the beach.

Filming will take place on the beach at Ingoldmells near the Oasis pub.
