A BOOK which takes a walk down Stickford's memory lane will be launched on Thursday.
David Robinson OBE will launch Stickford in Pictures in the village's Community Centre at 7pm on behalf of Stickford Local History Group.
The 80-page book ties together a collection of old and new pictures of the village and draws upon some interesting
then-and-now photos.
Mr Robinson will follow the launch with a talk on bricks and brickmaking at 7.30pm and will have the usual Stickford Local History Group charge of £2 for guests and 50p for group members.
Stickford in Pictures will be available on the night for a special offer of £5 and will be on sale in local shops and from Jill Catchpole, telephone, 01205 480249, for £6.50.
