From the whistle, Alford attacked the opposition goal and within the first three minutes Alford were 2- 0 up with goals in quick succession by Kelly Tuplin. Sam Sleet soon increased the score to three, before Chloe Bolland was able to put three past the keeper in an excellent four minute spell mid-way through the half.
Spalding attempted to hold back the onslaught, however their valiant efforts could not prevent further goals from Tracy Le'Gate, Sam Sleet, Kelly Tuplin and two more from Chloe Bolland before the whistle ended the first half with Alford 11-0 leaders.
The second half brought no respite for Spalding and within seconds Kelly Tuplin increased the score to 12. With little happening in Alford's half, centre back Helen Johnstone joined the masses and added Alford's 13th shortly before winger Kelly Wilkinson increased the score to 14.
Spalding, to their credit, never gave up and when a move out of defence left Alford's defenders wrong footed the home side swarmed on the Alford goal and Spalding's Tina Gent pushed the ball past the stranded keeper for Spalding to add to the scoreline, to everyone's delight.
Alford were not yet finished and in a ten minute spell Chloe Bolland added three more goals to add to further goals from Sam Sleet, Kelly Tuplin and Luan Burton to increase the score to 1 – 20.
Alford were awarded a final short corner as the full time whistle blew, which Caroline Vickers converted to Alford's 21st and final goal.
Goal scorers were Chloe Bolland 8, Kelly Tuplin 5, Sam Sleet 3, Luan Burton 1, Tracy Le'Gate 1, Kelly Wilkinson 1, Helen Johnstone 1 and Caroline Vickers 1.
This was Alford's third win in three games, and their most comprehensive victory with man of the match going to Chloe Bolland.
