Monday - ALFORD took on Louth and collected six points (52 – 43 aggregate) in their encounter at St Mary's ground.

Jim Tillson, Derek Smith and Peter Smedley lead the way winning 22 – 7 on their rink.

North Thoresby were not in a generous mood and took all eight points (64 – 43) against Wragby, moving to the top of the league table, with Ann Field, Norman Buckley and Fred Butt winning comfortably 25 – 14.

Meanwhile Charles Street were giving Tealby a bashing 6 – 2 (76 – 53) in a surprise win. Captain Madge Spendlow, Malcolm McClean and Ken Harrison steamed ahead winning 33 – 8 on their rink.

North Somercotes A won their game against Eastfield 6 – 2 (61 – 39). Leading the way was Doug Dobson, Ken Phillips and John Smith winning 27 – 12.

Middle Rasen showed no mercy to North Somercotes 'B' winning 8 – 0 (59 – 37).

Alan Hubbard, Paul Culverhouse and Shirley Vessey won 27 – 12.
