Saturday - BURGH'S poor run of form continued as they battled against Graves Park in the East Lindsey Knock-Out Trophy, losing by 27 runs at Station Road.
Burgh v Graves Park
Thanks to a sterling 42 from King, the visitors reached 128 for 7 off their sixteen overs, King and J. Morris adding 55 for the fourth wicket at a crucial point in the innings.
Burgh skipper Paul Bronks claimed 3 for 23.
Needing eight an over, Burgh's eagerness to chase proved ineffective and, despite a good 35 from Ben Pearce, a steadily rising asking-rate eventually defeated a mixed bag of efforts.
Fine spells from Morris and Hodgson helped Graves Park through to the next round in some comfort.
