Skegness mixed A team who play in division one of the South Lincs League won again last Monday against Donington A team.
Donington, who field two very strong, hard smashing men, are always hard to beat and Skegness had to fight all the way.

First couple Mark Froggatt and Helen Hill had to take two of the games to the full three sets but came out winners in all three games in spite of Mark having a foot problem in the final game.

Second pair Kevin Soulby and Gail Odlin had two tough games and one easy game and managed to win two of their three .

The team has drafted in Jess Lindley to bring the average age of the team down to a much more respectable 30 plus instead of 40 plus and third couple of Graham and Jess Lindley did their job well and picked up one game but found the top two men too hard a task.

Overall score 6-3 to Skegness.

The away fixture should be very interesting indeed.

The men's team are playing in division one of the Boston League and the ladies play in division one of the South Lincs League. The ladies are looking forward to their first game of the season next week.
