Thursday - SKEGNESS Town Under 18s will be playing in the top flight of the Lincolnshire Intermediate League this season.
The young Lilywhites, who were crowned champions of the Central Division in May, have been rewarded with a place in the Premier Division for the 2008/2009 season.
This means they will be playing the likes of Nettleham, Retford United, Lincoln United, Grantham Town and Sleaford Town.
It will be a tough test for the seasiders, but one the players are bound to gain valuable experience from as they look to progress into senior football.
They will kick off their league season with a home match against Caythorpe and Fulbeck on September 7.
This will be followed seven days later by the visit of Sleaford Town to Burgh Road.
Both games will kick off at 10.45am.
Skegness have also been drawn at home in the first round of the League Cup. Their tie against Swineshead Institute will be played on October 19 at Burgh Road. The prize for the winners is a home tie against Saxilby in Round Two.
The seasiders travel to Boston Young Pilgrims in the first round of the Jacksons Workwear Rental Charity Cup on October 5 and should they be successful they will have a home tie against Waddington's South Division side in the second round.
